  參考范文一:

Talking about the most challenging as well as the most impressive experience in last two years, I would definitely say that it was keeping two parrots at home. My brother gave me two parrots (they should be called Budgerigar) as a surprise gift when my summer vacation began in last year. At first, I was overjoyed when hearing that I need to shoulder the whole responsibility to take care of them. In the following several days, I searched much information on the Internet to get to know its food list, living habits and behaviours, even the possible symptoms of getting ill. Then I bought them a nice and bigger cage as their “l(fā)uxury flat” to offer them more space for activities. Preparing daily food and water, talking to them and observing them, I patiently did all what I could do to fully shoulder the responsibility as their owner.

As I said it was very challenging because I found it was so hard to keep two LITTLE things! I need to pay great attention, efforts and patience to complete the daily feeding and cleaning, which was more challenging than the daily tasks in online games. Moreover, my nice talking and observing couldn’t do any help to train them to listen to me, even be a little bit friendly to me! I thought the training to birds was so a piece of cake before keeping them. When I approached them more closer than usual, they would flapped their wings and flew around the whole cage, even pecked me badly. As for the most important point, they could be making noises all the time during the day. It was a period when I didn’t feel like hearing any bird songs, so-called “birds’ singing”. It was a great sense of helplessness when my passion met with my frustration in keeping them, especially when I found what could I do was only to deal with their dropping waste and the falling-out feathers. Finally I realized that keeping pets is a thing that “Love me much (not little), love me longer”. Taking the responsibility for your pet is much more challenging than saying that. You have to think carefully before having a plan to keep a pet. Last but not the least, you need to take care of it throughout its whole life to experience what responsibility is.

  參考范文二:

would like to talk about the time I first moved to Changsha for college. It’s one of the major changes in my life till now I have to say.

Firstly, I was born in the north of China. We have drier winter, while Changsha, which is a southern city is probably the most humid city in the world. The constant rain is killing me. And the food in Changsha is too spicy and salty for me. I am not used to having too many spices and chili in the food. Also, I can’t really understand the local language.

Besides, college study is totally different from high school study, including in study methods and subjects. For example, you don’t have anyone to supervise you or motivate you on your own things. You can only rely on yourself.

Another significant change for me is the living environment. I used to live with my parents and have my own room, while in college, I have to live with 5 other girls in a small dormitory. We even don’t have a private bathroom. It’s utterly inconvenient when you have to share the bathroom with so many other people, like more than 70 people.

To conclude, I am still adapting myself to the new environment and the new life. Like people always say, we’ll have to embrace the change.

  2020年5-8月雅思口語part2新題預(yù)測:遇到的挑戰(zhàn)

  題目:

Describe a difficult challenge you met

  You should say:

  What it was

  When and where it happened

  What you did

And explain why you think it is a challenge

My experience of trying to win a prize in a chess competition for amateurs(業(yè)余人士) could be a perfect story for this topic. I think it’s a challenge for me, because when playing chess, you have to plan every of your moves ahead, and pay attention to not only your own pieces(棋子)and moves, but that of the other player.

And also, it is a small life goal for me. Shameless to say this, but in my life, I have won some prizes, but most of them are in the academic field, just 1 or 2 out of them are music-related. Somehow, I’m just more academically inclined(偏學(xué)術(shù)). So, I was thinking about to win another prize in a field that I am not so familiar with. I know chances are slim(希望渺茫), because I was just a beginner in chess-playing. But anyways, it never hurt to give it a shot(嘗試), right?

As a beginner, I luckily fight to the final, but didn’t come out on top in the end. I still remember, I just slept 4hours the night before the final, because I am so nervous that I suffered from insomnia(失眠). That was why I drank a cup of coffee to refresh myself the next morning. At the first 20 minutes of the game, I was actually the one on the win side, because I took most of the competitor’s pieces off the chessboard. But unexpectedly, he just somehow turned the table(扭轉(zhuǎn)局勢,反敗為勝) and checkmated(將軍) me with a little pawn.

Although I didn’t fulfill my goal, I still learned a lot from this experience. I think the world was just like a big chessboard, on which all of us were little pieces. Some of us are born to be the king or queen, while others may be little pawns standing at the corner of the chessboard, just like you and me. But even a little pawn stands a chance(有機會)of winning.

  雅思口語Part2??荚掝}:經(jīng)歷過的困難

雅思范文part2范文:A difficult time you went through

One of the most important times in my life, as it is in almost everyone’s life, was when I was sixteen.

I was in high school in Beijing. I was a kind of a shy teenager and only had one friend. We were very close and did everything together. We would often go to each other’s house for sleep overs, and would stay up late at night chatting about everything two children could ever chat about. We were best of friends until one day when we had a terrible misunderstanding. She thought I had told someone a secret that she had told me, and she decided not to be my friend anymore. She made a new best friend and would strut around with her trying to make me jealous. She would gossip with all the other kids about me. I suddenly became an outcast at school, and thus, became utterly lonely and depressed. I thought there was something seriously wrong with me.

It was not until I talked with my cousin about my situation, that I realized it was not me that had a problem but her. I also began to understand that you can not take what others say and do so close to heart, or you will always feel bad about yourself, and will never be able to live your life. I also realized that bad things happen in life, and you can not hide from them; or dig yourself into a hole. I eventually found a new best friend, whom I am still friends with today. I have a more open personality, and I am one of the top students in my college. I believe that situation made me a stronger person. I can handle rejection now wherever it comes from, and just keep rolling with a smile on my face.
