　　一般現(xiàn)在時的基本用法

　　①一般現(xiàn)在時常表示經(jīng)常發(fā)生的動作或經(jīng)常存在的狀態(tài)

　　如:I go to school every day.

　　我每天上學(xué).

　　②表示此狀態(tài)時,常和always,often,usually,everyday,sometimes等表示時間的狀語連用,有時候時間狀語可以不表示出來

　　如:Where do you live?

　　你住在哪里?

　?、塾蓋hen ,while,before,after,until,as soon as 等引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句亦可用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)表示經(jīng)常發(fā)生的動作或是狀態(tài).

　　如:Make hay while the sun shines.

　　要趁熱打鐵

　?、苓B詞if 引導(dǎo)的條件從句有時也可用一般現(xiàn)在時表示經(jīng)常發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)

　　如:If you do not like it you may lump it.

　　表日常行為:

　　如:The boy wake up at seven a'clock,wash ,dress quickly and run into the dining room for breakfast.They wait until they hear the bell and then go to school.

　　這些男孩7點起床,洗漱完畢,很快地穿好衣服,就到食堂去用早餐,然后等上課鈴一響就去上課.

　　表習(xí)慣,能力等:

　　如:Do you drive,Joho?

　　Joho,你會開車嗎?

　　表客觀存在:

　　如:Fire burns

　　火會燃燒(表客觀事實)

　　The earth moves round the sun.

　　地球圍繞太陽旋轉(zhuǎn)(表客觀真理)

　　報紙,雜志,書籍不強調(diào)過去時間,單純表示客觀事實(即所載文字依然存在)時候,也可用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)

　　如:What does the newspaper say?(是什么時候的練習(xí)題目吧)

　　一般現(xiàn)在時的具體用法

　　1. 表示經(jīng)常的或習(xí)慣性的動作，常與表示頻率的時間狀語連用。

　　e.g. I leave home for school at 7:00 every morning.

　　2. 表示客觀事實和普遍真理。

　　e.g. The earth moves around the sun.

　　3. 表示現(xiàn)在發(fā)生的具體動作或存在的狀態(tài)

　　e.g. He lives in Beijing now.

　　4. 習(xí)慣性的愛好或行為

　　e.g. I like dancing while she likes singing.

　　5. 表示預(yù)先計劃或安排好的行為。

　　e.g. Our class begins at 7:45.

　　6. 在時間狀語從句和條件狀語從句中，常用一般現(xiàn)在時代替將來時。

　　e.g. If you come, we will wait for you.

　　7. 表示格言或警句中。

　　e.g. Pride goes before a fall.　驕者必敗。

　　8.表示主語具備的性格、能力、特征和狀態(tài)。

　　e.g. I don't want so much.

　　Ann Wang writes good English but does not speak well.

　　比較：Now I put the sugar in the cup.

　　I am doing my homework now.

　　9.在時間狀語從句和條件狀語從句中，常用一般現(xiàn)在時代替將來時。

　　10.小說故事用一般現(xiàn)在時代替一般過去時。新聞報道類的內(nèi)容，為了體現(xiàn)其“新鮮”性，也用一般現(xiàn)在時來表示過去發(fā)生的事情。

　　11.有些表示狀態(tài)和感覺的動詞表示現(xiàn)在發(fā)生的具體行為時，只用一般現(xiàn)在時，而不用進行時態(tài)。

　　注意★：此用法如果出現(xiàn)在賓語從句中，即使主句是過去時，從句謂語也要用一般現(xiàn)在時。

　　例：Columbus proved that the earth is round.. 第一句用一般現(xiàn)在時，用于操作演示或指導(dǎo)說明的示范性動作，表示言行的瞬間動作。再如：Now watch me,I switch on the current and stand back. 第二句中的now是進行時的標(biāo)志，表示正在進行的動作的客觀狀況，所以后句用一般現(xiàn)在時。
