Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is “I love you, China.”
Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”
I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.
I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. 回顧中華民族的歷史長河，林則徐、鄧世昌等無數(shù)民族英雄為國家的利益拋頭顱、灑熱血;新中國成立后，有很多杰出人物，如鄧稼先、華羅庚、錢學(xué)森等，他們放棄國外榮華富貴的生活，回到貧窮的祖國來，為國家的現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)貢獻(xiàn)自己的力量。他們熱愛祖國、報效祖國可歌可泣的動人事跡，永遠(yuǎn)激勵著每一個中國人!

今天我演講的題目是《為祖國而奮斗》。愛國主義，這是一個多么光輝的字眼。古今中外，有多少英雄豪杰，有多少仁人志士，有多少科學(xué)偉人，有多少文學(xué)巨匠為它而拼搏，為它而奮斗不息!
大家都熟悉南宋抗金名將岳飛，他牢記母訓(xùn)“精忠報國”，帶領(lǐng)岳家軍，以“壯志饑餐胡虜肉，笑談渴飲匈奴血”的豪情壯志，馳騁疆場，威震敵膽，擊退敵人的一次次進(jìn)攻。南宋末年，宋朝江山土崩瓦解之際，文天祥奮起衛(wèi)國，終因寡不敵眾而被俘。他寫下了“人生自古誰無死，留取丹心照汗青”的豪邁詩句，表達(dá)了他的愛國之情和誓死不屈的決心。古羅馬有一位叫馬塞爾的英雄，當(dāng)祖國遭受敵人的侵略時，他帶領(lǐng)人民奮勇殺敵，在戰(zhàn)斗中不幸被俘。敵人威脅他如不投降，就把他燒死。面對窮兇極惡的敵人，馬塞爾臨危不懼。他慷慨陳辭：“為了祖國免遭強(qiáng)盜的蹂躪，我即使葬身火海也在所不辭?！瘪R塞爾的生命被火神吞噬了，可是他的愛國主義精神永遠(yuǎn)激勵著羅馬人民努力奮斗。
