　　1. 收集申請國家、地區(qū)、和學校不同機構(gòu)提供的獎學金種類

　　獎學金的種類和申請難易程度經(jīng)常因國家而異。例如，英國政府提供的留學英國獎學金項目多于美國政府，但是在學校的層面上，美國學校更富裕、給獎的幾率也比英國學校大。

　　2. 挑選資金數(shù)額和申請條件符合自己的獎學金

　　獎學金往往會對申請者有具體要求，尤其是第三方資助的獎學金，例如申請地、申請人國籍、學習科目、年齡、性別、宗教和種族等。在英國留學，基本上每個學校都有一兩個提供給亞洲或中國學生的獎學金，但是競爭也非常激烈。獎學金項目同時會明確提供的金額上限、以及對學生最低成績的要求等等。很多美國大學會把學生每年的成績做為下一年是否發(fā)放獎學金的評判標準。
