Engaged in hotel and catering business has been my dream for a long time. I have been thinking privately to choose my favorite major in high school and it is also my motivation to study. Travelling and tasting delicacies have always been my two great hobbies, and I have constantly fantasized how wonderful it will be to combine the work and life in the future with my interests and hobbies. So I choose Tourism Management (biasing towards hotel management) as my major in university.
The learning contents of my major are more comprehensive, which makes me able to contact much knowledge in related fields. Such studies have made me benefit a lot, understand the knowledge related to the tourism industry and the catering industry more comprehensively, and have a solid foundation and good capacity and further specify the direction of my development-hotel management in the course of continuous learning improvement. With a goal in mind, I have been trying to do well in each step after entering university and reasonably arrange my study and life. At the same time of learning professional knowledge with great efforts and maintaining good grades, I have actively joined the school club activities, organized and participated in various school activities and public-service activities (AIDS Day publicity, care for the children left behind, etc.), and established the “Association for Learning” with several excellent students, which is an organization providing services for students who take part in the entrance exams for postgraduate schools, graded examinations and English studies, etc. The association was awarded The 10 Best College Associations by Chengdu Youth League in 2009. I have ever served as: Vice Minister of the Department of Culture and Sports of the school Student Apartment Management Committee, Minister of the school “Association for Learning”, Director of the Secretary Department of the school Psychological Development Association; obtained the scholarship and won the title of “Excellent Student Cadre” during the 2007/2008 academic year. The full life and good professional basis in the first and second college life have not only made me mature, enhanced my social skills, but also increased my confidence in the future study. The specialized courses and common basic courses in the third year have started to add some practical courses, which have given me more opportunities of extracurricular practice, trained my ability to combine theory and practice and let me better apply the knowledge into the practice.
It seems to me that Hotel Management is definitely a good choice. The rapid take-off of the Chinese economy and the rising living standard of the people have promoted the constant development of the tourism industry, and its development speed and potential can not be ignored. Therefore, I have always been full of confidence in the tourism industry and the related catering industry. The college I study in has education cooperation with Perth Institute of Tourism and Hospitality and the combination of Chinese and Australian teaching method lets me learn a lot of specialized knowledge, while in the course of study, I have not only found that there is still a certain gas between our school’s education quality of the major and the internationally advanced level, but also discovered the advantage of foreign education and the advancement and perfection of their hospitality industry. So I determine to go abroad for further studies. Your school’s learning environment and education quality are what I have dreamed of and I have been paying attention to the situation and development of your school, especially the information about the major of hospitality. I hope I can study in your school and then return home to fulfill my dream after successful graduation, to start a restaurant of my own characteristics. 泰國留學(xué)后期準(zhǔn)備一覽表
一、辦理簽證
簽證是大家合法出入境的證明，留學(xué)生辦理的是學(xué)生簽，需要大家準(zhǔn)備好相應(yīng)的材料之后，再去使館遞交申請，此前還需要遞交電子申請，預(yù)約好時(shí)間，并且準(zhǔn)備材料。
要出事的材料，主要有擔(dān)保信(由學(xué)校進(jìn)行出示)、錄取通知的復(fù)印件、個(gè)人護(hù)照(有效期需要在半年以上)、保證金證明和體檢的完整報(bào)告原件，還有申請表兩份。
二、確定住宿
如果之前已經(jīng)提交了學(xué)校的宿舍的申請了的話，及時(shí)登錄網(wǎng)站進(jìn)行查詢，看看自己有沒有申請成功，一般會(huì)優(yōu)先發(fā)放給留學(xué)生，成功之后需要及時(shí)的確認(rèn)入住，并且繳納房租。
如果沒有申請成功，那么就需要聯(lián)系學(xué)校周邊出租的公寓的負(fù)責(zé)任，一般會(huì)有官方的網(wǎng)站，大家直接選擇和是的位置的房子，進(jìn)行申請，之后會(huì)由工作人員和你取得聯(lián)系。
三、預(yù)定機(jī)票
簽證到手并且確定了出行的時(shí)間之后，就可以購買機(jī)票了，跨國的機(jī)票購買也并不難，自己動(dòng)手的話，除了要填寫身份證等信息，還需要填寫護(hù)照的相關(guān)信息。
當(dāng)然還是委托各中介或者通過第三方來進(jìn)行購買，他們可以監(jiān)控票價(jià)的變化，為你買到更便宜的機(jī)票，將自己的信息交給他們就可以了。
四、準(zhǔn)備行李
最后才是行李的準(zhǔn)備，中泰兩國的生活差異不算特別大，所以大家的行李還是盡量要精簡，這樣可以減少出行的負(fù)擔(dān)，當(dāng)然必要的東西還是不能夠忘記的。
例如相關(guān)的證件，尤其是身份證，雖然在泰國不需要，但是出入境的時(shí)候都是需要出示的;以及現(xiàn)金，泰國并沒有普及手機(jī)支付，大部分時(shí)候是刷卡和現(xiàn)金。
泰國留學(xué)入境流程一覽
一、入境檢查
大家從飛機(jī)上下來之后，首先需要接受入境的基本檢查，需要大家?guī)Ш米约旱碾S身行李，準(zhǔn)備好護(hù)照和入境卡，入境卡是初次進(jìn)入泰國的人必須要在飛機(jī)上填好的材料。
大家跟隨大廳內(nèi)的“Arrivals”指示牌，抵達(dá)海外人士接受檢查的入境檢查處，檢查出一般寫著“Immigration”或者“Passport Control”，大家直接進(jìn)入遞交證件即可。
二、轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)手續(xù)
大部分的學(xué)生會(huì)選擇直接從國內(nèi)飛往泰國，不過有時(shí)候直飛的機(jī)票會(huì)比較貴，或者在出行高峰期的時(shí)候，機(jī)票已經(jīng)售罄，那么大家就只能夠被迫選擇轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)。
其實(shí)轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)也是比較方便的，大家一般會(huì)從新加坡或者馬來西亞轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)，還可以順便去那里逛一逛，領(lǐng)取登機(jī)牌的時(shí)候會(huì)得到一份轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)指南，大家只需要按照指示來做就可以了。
三、領(lǐng)取行李
通過了入境的檢查，并且確認(rèn)了身份之后，大家就可以前往行李傳送帶處出拿行李了，大廳會(huì)有專門的顯示牌，指示大家應(yīng)該前往哪個(gè)區(qū)域領(lǐng)取行李。
大家只需要確定好自己的航班，在前往相應(yīng)的位置，一般接受了檢查之后行李也已經(jīng)出來了，直接找到拿走。
四、海關(guān)檢查
最后一步是接受來自海關(guān)的檢查，主要是對行李的檢查，如果有需要申報(bào)的物品，那么要進(jìn)行非常仔細(xì)的檢查，而如果沒有申報(bào)的物品，那么只需要過掃描。
大家要記得，電腦等貴重物品是需要進(jìn)行申報(bào)的，而且可以準(zhǔn)備好購買的收據(jù)，這樣才能夠撇清偷渡的嫌疑，而且規(guī)定禁止入境的東西千萬不要拿。
