I am interested in the field of study of Organizational Behavior. In the past， I have had the experience of working in settings where the people and the corporate cultures of the companies were all different. I have found that there is a great difference in the both the behaviors of people and of their organizations， depending on whether they are state-owned enterprises (SOEs)， large multinational firms， or small to medium sized foreign enterprises. One simple example is that of the ability of an employee to act independently without direct instructions from his or her boss. In many Chinese organizations， acting without direct instructions is considered a form of disrespect towards the supervisor， who is generally offended by such behavior. In my experience and research， such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with the employees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.

The purpose behind this personal statement is to not only gain admission to your well-established and highly respected Ph.D. program， but to impress upon you my passion for learning and my tremendous desire to succeed in both scholastic research and in teaching on the professional level. I have based my decision to pursue an academic career not on purely practical reasons， but rather on my own natural interests and aptitude. My personal philosophy is that money and social status should not be pursued as life-consuming objectives and that in actuality they are the by-products of goals originating from one's inner needs. 美國留學材料
1、SAT/ACT考試成績(申請本科需要)
如果你在美國讀高中，SAT是一定要考的;如果你在國內(nèi)讀高中，申請美國本科時，排名前60位的大學基本都對此有要求。所以，對于絕大多數(shù)申請美國留學的學生來說，這一考試都是繞不開的。
絕大多數(shù)美國大學，遞交SAT成績或ACT成績都是可以的，但從名校申請的統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)表明，提交SAT的申請者幾乎是ACT的兩倍，更多人還是選擇SAT。
SAT考試分為SAT1和SAT2，SAT1俗稱美國高考，是一個考察學生學習能力的考試。SAT2是學科的測試，其實就是專業(yè)課考試，給大學呈現(xiàn)學生在專門領(lǐng)域水平。SAT2大部分學校是不需提交的。國內(nèi)學生主要考SAT1，是否需要考SAT2取決于申請學校的要求。

2、GRE/GMAT考試成績(申請研究生需要)
GRE的中文名稱是美國研究生入學考試，適用于除法律與商業(yè)外的各專業(yè)。GMAT的中文名稱是研究生管理科學入學考試，適用于商科學生。你具體要參加什么考試、需要考多少分，由你要申請的學校和專業(yè)決定。
3、英語考試成績
根據(jù)學校要求，你需要考托?；蜓潘?，絕大多數(shù)申請美國學校的學生都是考托福。成績單直接通過官方的機構(gòu)寄送即可。
4、成績單
申請美國本科，需要遞交9~12年級的成績單，也就是初三到高三(申請時未畢業(yè)的同學不必打印高三的)，別落了初三!申請美國研究生，需要遞交大一到大四的成績單(未畢業(yè)同學不必打印大四的)。
學校如果有自己的模版，用學校的模版即可，如果學校沒有模版，就用學校抬頭紙打印成績單，落款蓋公章，封入學校官方信封，兩邊封口處加蓋學校公章。
成績單需要譯成英文，可以分開兩頁紙，也可以中英對照。
成績單的數(shù)量最好比申請的學校數(shù)量多3~5份，以備不時之需。
成績單上最好將自己的百分成績換算成GPA，并顯示自己在班級所排名次。
美國有的學校要求成績單從學校寄出，大家要注意申請學校是否有要求。如果沒有，把成績單和其它材料一并寄出即可。
留學申請寫作內(nèi)容
1.評價你的一個重要經(jīng)歷﹑成就﹑風險決定﹑或者你曾面對的兩難選擇的經(jīng)歷，并評價對你造成的影響。
2.討論某個個人的﹑地區(qū)性的﹑國家性的﹑或國際性的關(guān)注話題以及對你的重要性。
3.說明一個對你有重要影響的人并描述對你的影響。
4.描述一個影響你的人并說明對你的影響，該人物可以是小說中的﹑歷史中的﹑或者某創(chuàng)新性作品(比如在藝術(shù)﹑音樂﹑科學等方面)中的。
5.(可以敘述)一系列諸如學術(shù)興趣﹑個人前途﹑生活經(jīng)歷等能夠顯著增添教育多樣性的事情。結(jié)合你個人的背景，描述一個可以說明你將會給大學社區(qū)的多元化帶來何種貢獻的經(jīng)歷，或者一個表明多元化對你有重要意義的經(jīng)歷。
6.(如果以上題目沒有合適的題材)請自行選擇一個題目。
此外，common學校除了以上文書要求外，還會有supplement文書內(nèi)容，例如斯坦福大學在13年申請補充文書部分要求三篇，每篇小文章至少250字，不超過提供的空間。
其中一篇有關(guān)于在人生智力發(fā)展方面，哪些思想或經(jīng)歷對智力具有影響的事。還有一篇是寫描述自己給未來室友，讓學校對你有進一步的認識。另外還有一篇是寫發(fā)生在你身上的一件事，并闡述原因。
