給編輯寫信英文篇一
Dear Editor,
As a student reader, I am writing to talk about the English textbooks published by your house. These books have many advantages. One of them is that we can find a variety of topics, such as science, culture and history. These topics, I think, are very popular with us students. What’s more, along with the texts there are many beautiful and colorful pictures, which can help us understand English better. Even the students who used to dislike English have turned out to be interested in the subject. However, some of the texts have too many new words and expressions which are hard for us. Therefore, I’d like to suggest changing them into easier ones.
Best regards,
Li Hua

Dear Editor,
I’m a student of Senior Two. At the beginning of this term, my parents and teachers asked me to board at school. They say I can ask questions whenever I haveany.Besides, they think boarding at school will make it possible for me to make full use of my night time, and I can also develop the ability to look after myself.
However, I have my own thougts.Stayng at home in the evening ,I can make use of my time freely and learn what I’d like to .At the same time, I can watch TV for a little time. After all, study doesn’t mean everything. I really don’t know how to do it. Please give me your advice!
Best wishes.
Yours,
Li Ping

Dear Editor,
Thank you for your starting a specia1 co1umn jorthe discussion on space projects. Frankly, it seemsto me that our space projects so far have been inthe main a waste of money, time, energy, humanlives and resources.
The richer countries are pouring large sums of money into space research programs which areof no benefit to human beings while in underdeveloped countries thousands of people aredying of hunger. Besides, many scientists’ time and energy are wasted, which could have beendevoted to improving our living condition.
What’s more, many astronauts have died complete1y uselessly in space vehicles which havebeen faulty. They were young people who hadn’t enjoyed the fruit of life yet.
Apart from human wastage, there is the wastage of resources which are finite and essential ifman is to survive. I think it’s high time we stopped these meaningless programs.
