a. 本單元的寫作指導(dǎo):
本單元主要是運(yùn)用should, could這兩個情態(tài)動詞來解答同學(xué)們在生活中遇到的問題,給出相關(guān)的建議。
我們來復(fù)習(xí)一下情態(tài)動詞的相關(guān)用法:情態(tài)動詞的詞義并不完整,不能單獨(dú)做謂語,兩個情態(tài)動詞也不能連用,后面必須連接實(shí)義動詞原形來一同做謂語。情態(tài)動詞表示說話人對動作或事物的態(tài)度和看法,如可能,應(yīng)該或必要等等。情態(tài)動詞通常沒有人稱和數(shù)的變化形式,否定形式是在情態(tài)動詞后面加not, 疑問形式是將情態(tài)動詞提前。should是“應(yīng)該,應(yīng)當(dāng)”的意思,could是“可以,可能”的意思。
肯定形式:
You should save water.
He could talk with your friends.
否定形式:
You shouldn't stay at home for a long time.
You couldn't play computer games again.
疑問形式:
Should I leave now?
Could you please help me?
可用短語:

本文任務(wù)要求先讀一篇電子郵件,然后根據(jù)電子郵件的內(nèi)容再回復(fù)一封,這樣的難度較單純寫一封電子郵件要難許多,因?yàn)橐獙Σ牧现械膬?nèi)容有準(zhǔn)確的反饋。
讓我們來一同了解一下電子郵件的寫法吧!
電子郵件的出現(xiàn)滿足人們快捷通訊的需要,我們可將電子郵件看成是信件的一種,但是它又與手寫的信有所區(qū)別。
(1)電子郵件要寫收信人的地址和信件的主題。收信人的電子郵件地址要寫在“收信人(To)”框中,主題(Subject)是將電子郵件內(nèi)容用一個詞,幾個詞或一句話加以概括,好的主題應(yīng)簡明地概括電子郵件的內(nèi)容,讓人一目了然,吸引讀電子郵件的人首先閱讀。
(2)稱呼和普通英文書信一樣要取決于通信雙方的親密程度。
(3)正文和寫英文書信相差不多,都要在稱呼的下一行,但電子郵件可以頂格寫,也可空出3到5個字母。另外,最好用問候語來開始郵件正文的內(nèi)容,這樣會讓人讀起來很親切。常用的問候語有很多種,可以根據(jù)需要來選擇。
正文要簡潔明了,讓人很快地讀懂你的想法。重要的一點(diǎn)是,同學(xué)們必須根據(jù)提示內(nèi)容將電子郵件的要點(diǎn)寫全,并注意詞語和句式的選用。而如果是回復(fù)電子郵件,我們要將其中所提的問題一一解答清楚,而不要有所遺漏。
(4)在正文的后面可以寫上祝福語或者表達(dá)我們的心愿。如:I'm looking forward to hearing from you. / Please write to me soon. / Best wishes to you and your parents. / Good luck to you. / Take good care of yourself.
(5)最后的結(jié)束語和簽名也分兩行頂格寫。這都屬于電子郵件的特殊之處。
c. 習(xí)作的評價與商榷的意見:
上面的習(xí)作符合電子郵件的格式,全文內(nèi)容通順流暢。對于這樣的給材料作文,小作者一一回答了材料中所提到的問題,寫出了自己對于朋友真誠的建議,并做了適當(dāng)?shù)陌l(fā)揮。不過美中不足的是由于缺少過渡性的詞語,文章顯得有點(diǎn)亂。另外,文中還有幾處要值得商榷之處。
(1)此句涉及到主謂一致的情況,做主語的是our friends and I,應(yīng)視為復(fù)數(shù),所以am應(yīng)改為are。
(2)此句的詞組為borrow sth. from sb.(從某人那借某物),所以此處的to應(yīng)改為from。
(3)各別句子過長,過于復(fù)雜,不利于閱讀,可適當(dāng)?shù)刈兂蓭讉€短句子。
(4)雖然本電子郵件回答了材料中所提到的問題,但是如果添加幾個過渡詞會文章會顯得更有條理。
