1. Get someone's goat:故意為難某人或惹某人發(fā)火的意思。
Goat在這里比喻一個(gè)人的安寧,如果被人偷走,肯定大發(fā)光火。如果要故意撩撥某人,可以說:I'm going to get your goat!
2. Separate the sheep from the goats:區(qū)別好壞,分辨良莠。
此諺語與separate the men from the boys同義。Working in a challenging place like this really separates the sheep from the goats。
3. Skin a goat:直接的字義是剝羊皮,做成語用時(shí)指“嘔吐”。
