　　During the summer vocation I went to my hometown to see the parents in their eighties. Mother has been suffering from pain in knees. She has to be wheeled here and there, by my brother. Seldom does mother ask for help even in great need.Many medical treatments have failed to her, which tortures me mentally. These days I took over the duty of taking mother to the clinics.

　　Mother has a garden which is confined to a corner on the roof. She engages heself in daily gardening. Her diligence and devotion rewards her with colorful vegetables, varying from tomatoes to beans,cucumbers. Watering the garden grows into a challenging job, mainly due to her dilapdating legs. Used water depends on her to carry from downstars to the roof, where she waters from one to another. Despite our advice against the gardening, mother sticks to her garden, which is her paradise.

　　暑假期間，我去老家看了八十多歲的父母。母親膝蓋疼痛。她必須被我的兄弟推來跑去。很少的母親尋求幫助甚至是非常需要的。很多治療方法沒有她，這折磨我的精神。這些天我承擔(dān)了帶母親去診所的責(zé)任。

　　母親有一個(gè)花園，在屋頂?shù)囊粋€(gè)角落里。她使自己在日常園藝。她的勤勞和奉獻(xiàn)給她以豐富多彩的蔬菜，從西紅柿到豆類，黃瓜。花園澆水成長為一個(gè)具有挑戰(zhàn)性的工作，主要是由于她受傷腿。用的水取決于她從隨身到屋頂，在那里她水從一個(gè)到另一個(gè)。盡管我們反對園藝，母親還是堅(jiān)持她的花園，那是她的樂園。
