一、seem常用于it作形式主語的結(jié)構(gòu),即It seems / seemed that..., 表示“看來……,似乎……”。

注意:1)在這一句式中,??墒∪hat。
2)在seem后間或可跟形容詞。

二、seem可與形容詞、名詞、不定式(短語)、分詞及介詞短語搭配。
1. seem + 名詞
That seems a good idea. 那似乎是個(gè)好主意。
She seems a clever girl. 她似乎是個(gè)聰明的女孩。
2. seem + 形容詞
She seems quite happy today. 今天她似乎很高興。
3. seem + 不定式(短語)
He seemed to have known the truth. 他似乎早已知道事情的真相。

三、 seem常用于由as if / though引導(dǎo)的從句中。

注意:在as if / though引起的從句中,如果說的是非真實(shí)的情況,從句謂語用虛擬語氣,如上句he were very stupid。如果所述的情況實(shí)現(xiàn)的可能性較大,則從句的謂語常用陳述語氣。
四、 seem常用在“It seems / seemed to sb. (that)...”結(jié)構(gòu)中,這種結(jié)構(gòu)常用來表示“行為”的主體。
It seems to me that we have been neglecting our duty. 我感覺我們對職責(zé)有所疏忽。
It seems to me that they are right. 我感覺他們是對的。
五、用于There seems / seemed + to be + n. (主語)中。

2)這一結(jié)構(gòu)的否定形式為“There seems / seemed to be + no + n.”或“There doesn't / didn't seem to be + n.”。
