A:Excuse me, I’m a journalist form the South China University of technology stations, I need to
interview someone about graduate life, could I ask you some questions?
B: okay, sure.
A:I feel a little nervous. I want to ask you a question, Do you often feel stressed?
B: maybe sometimes.
A: you looks so worried, what happened?
B: School. Since I was working part time, I had a difficult time keeping up with class. Now the final exam is coming soon, I'm totally freaking out.
A: The best thing to do is study as much as you can. I'm sure you'll do alright.
B: Oh, thank you, I hope so.
A:in addition, "What's usually stressing you out?"
B: parents’ great expectations, the highly competitive job market and so on.
A:Oh, facing so much pressure. Do you think what is the difference between high school and the college?
B:Eh…in my opinion, in high school, I studied all day long , I felt tired. But now, I have much spare time to do something the I am interested in.
A: That is great! What do you think about stress? is it always bad for us?
B: I think No stress , no development . a certain amount of stress is good . It can stimulate us and makes us stronger .But too much stress is bad. It makes us irrational and it can, quite literally, kill us.
A: yeah, our attitude towards stress is quite important. So how do you to lighten bad stress?
B: breathe deeply to Relax ,Smile more and Do some exercise are the useful ways to outlet my negative emotions... I also usually improve my time management and organization skills.
A: I see. Winter holiday is coming, do you have any plans?
B: I intend to find a part time job and experience the life. After that I will go home and enjoy Spring festival with my family. I don’t see my parents for about half a year. I miss them very much.
A: That’s good to know. Well, those are my questions. Thank you very much for helping me .
B:It is my pleasure.

Allen: You mean we have more people here.
Prof.: Not just people, you have a movie theater here, and over there is the Student Union Building with 4 different restaurants, and in the small park you can see many small groups of students.
Allen: So it seems that bigger is better.
Prof.: Again it depends on so much. Some people find this atmosphere too busy, too commercialized and overwhelming.
Allen: So if you had to pick just one, which school would you say is better?
Prof.: Since your article and assignment is on contrasts, I think you have done a good job of finding many of the contrasts between larger and smaller schools.
Allen: [Laughing] And once again you have found a way to answer my question, without answering my question.

艾倫:假如您只能從中選擇一所學(xué)校,您覺(jué)得哪個(gè)學(xué)校更好?
教授:既然你要寫的文章和作業(yè)是關(guān)于對(duì)比的,我想你已經(jīng)出色地完成了大型學(xué)校和小型學(xué)校的比較工作。
