In our daily life, it is necessary and important to cope with all kinds of people. Nonetheless, it is not too hard to master such abilities. There are several points contributing to becoming a popular person. Firstly, we have to be honest to ourselves as well as toward other people. Secondly, it is essential to be a modest person instead of an arrogant one, who is impossible to gain respect from others, not mention to the friendship. Thirdly, stay away from selfishness and learn to take good care of others. In a word, as long as be sincere and keep integrity in mind, everyone can cope with other people and make friends with each other.

Advantage and Disadvantages of Being an Only Child
My father used to talk to me about his five siblings. He used to say that I was unfortunate that I had none. And I used to envy him and wonder how nice it would be to have a house ful of brothers and sisters. I also used to wonder what would happen to me if I were to lose my parents.
Frankly speaking, I do not have to share anything with anybody. I own all my parents' love. I can ask for anything I want. I always wear new clothes and eat the Dest food. Since my parents spend all their money on me, I can study at the best university of the country.
Lucky as I am, I now and then feel very lonely and I have nobody to complain about my loneliness. How I long for a quarrel with my brothers and sisters! Of course I have classmates and friends, but they are different. Sometimes I feel so pessimistic that after my parents leave the world, I will have no blood relatives left to share with me the fond memoties of my parents.Furthermore, I am likely to become selfish while I realize the world is for sharing.
So, I am happy but lonely; I am fortunate but piteous; I am loved but spoiled; I am well-bred but selfish, because I am the only child of the family.

中國(guó)是世界上人口最多的國(guó)家，這就加大了發(fā)展中國(guó)的難度。從中國(guó)的長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)發(fā)展來(lái)看，有些人指出在中國(guó)實(shí)行獨(dú)生子女政策是有必要的。然而，也有反對(duì)的聲音。他們認(rèn)為獨(dú)生子女政策不利于孩子們的健康成長(zhǎng)。我同意后者的觀點(diǎn)。理由如下。
First of all, one child policy will make children feel lonely. One child policy means every couple just has one child. The child has no sisters or brothers to play with him. As time passes, they will feel lonely. We all know that there is not everything children want to tell their parents. Growing up with no brother or sister, the child may easy to get mental problem, such as, autism. In addition, as every parent just has one child, they will spoil their child double times. As a result, the child will the so called little emperor or little princess. When the child grows up, it is possible that he couldn’t adjust the world, the society, because no one will treat them as little emperor or little princess except their parents.

To sum up, one child policy maybe can solve the population problem in some extend, but it is not good for the long term development for china. Because it is not good for the young generation’s healthy growing up for the reasons mention above.

But there are also some negative views about the one-child family. They think it is better to have a big family. Everyone in the family can help each other when they have difficulties. What is more, the more children they have, the better life they will live when they grow old.
In my opinion, it's enough for a family to have one child. Nowadays population expansion is one of the most serious problems in the world. Population expansion contributes to a series of problems: shortage of natural resources and food supply,crowded cities and high rate of unemployment. Some day the earth will be too crowded for people to live in.
