　　On My Way to School-上學(xué)途中

　　Since my school is not far from where I live. I often walk to school. Along the way, I can see many interesting things. Right after I step out of my house, I can see many elderly people jogging around. As I pass the park, I see some people doing tai chi. Occasionally, I may also find a few students of my age who are reciting lessons while walking along.Morning is a precious time to plan for the day. I am proud of being a member of those early risers and of spending as much time as I can equipping myself for a better tomorrow.

　　由于我的學(xué)校距離住處不遠(yuǎn)，所以我經(jīng)常走路上學(xué)。沿途我可以看見(jiàn)許多有趣的事。我一踏出家門，就可以看到許多老年人在 慢跑。經(jīng)過(guò)公園，我看到有人在打太極拳。偶爾也會(huì)遇到幾個(gè)和我年齡相仿的學(xué)生邊走邊背誦功課。

　　一日之計(jì)在于晨。我很得意能躋身于早起人的行列，同時(shí)，也很自豪能夠?yàn)楦篮玫拿魈於湎?，充?shí)自我。

　　The Lost Sword失落之劍

　　A man was crossing the river when he accidentally dropped his sword into the river. Immediately he made a mark on the boat where the sword had fallen. "This is where my sword fell off, I shall find my sword by this mark." he said. When the boat stopped moving, he went into the water to look for his sword at the place where he had marked the boat. Needless to say, it was useless. The boat had moved but the sword had not. He was unable to find the lost sword.

　　一名男子因過(guò)河時(shí)，不慎掉進(jìn)他的劍 河。他馬上就在劍下降船商標(biāo)。 “這就是我的劍掉下來(lái)，我會(huì)找到我 劍這個(gè)標(biāo)志。“他說(shuō)。當(dāng)船停止移動(dòng)，他進(jìn)了水，他看劍的地方， 他標(biāo)志著船。不用說(shuō)，這是無(wú)用的。該船搬遷，但劍沒(méi)有。他無(wú)法找到 失去了劍。

　　heavy shoolwork-課業(yè)繁重

　　In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is too heavy. While it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. High should be allowed more time for play. Plying is not wasting time, as some think. It gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. Which tends to be stifled by too much study. Finally, the pressure put on high school students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. I do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. I do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and to the society as a whole.

　　我認(rèn)為目前高中生的課業(yè)實(shí)在 太重了，雖然說(shuō)學(xué)生的確應(yīng)當(dāng)念書，但是要想長(zhǎng)大成為健全的人，他門還需要一些其它的東西，所以應(yīng)該給高中生較多從事娛樂(lè)的時(shí)間。娛樂(lè) 并不如某些人所想的，是在浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，它可以讓學(xué)生鍛煉身體，發(fā)揮被繁重課業(yè)扼殺的想象力。此外，繁重的課業(yè)加諸在高中生身上的壓力可 能引起嚴(yán)重的情緒緊張，這對(duì)身心都有害。我并非主張廢除學(xué)校課業(yè)，但是我認(rèn)為減輕目前繁重的課業(yè)對(duì)于學(xué)生和整個(gè)社會(huì)都是有益的。
