On September 6th, 1995, I stayed one night in Beijing when I went to the North alone starting my university time. It's my first time to Beijing, also the first time leaving the small town of my home. The impression was really good at this first sight of Beijing.
1995年9月6日,在我獨自踏上北上求學(xué)之旅時,在北京住了一晚。那是我第一次到北京,也是第一次離開小小的家鄉(xiāng)。那次對北京的印象好極了。
My parents felt very sorry for my trip as they didn't feel comfortable to leave me alone and they were not able to go with me. But I was very excited, finally had my own travel.
臨行前,父母非常難過,很不放心,因為他們不能陪我一起去。而我異常興奮,終于可以開始自己一個人的旅程。
The sun scorched everything in Wuhan the day I left. Everyone was forced to be in sauna that was in the street, sweating from hair to the toes, shining all over the face. I took a luggage on arm, had a backpack on back, hold the train ticket in hand. The ticket got wet because it was paper. The waiting-room was full of all kinds of smell, filled with people each corner, no empty even for 1 inch space. Where is the little girl? I'm sure nobody can find out me who was drowned in the people tide. Happy refugee! I got onto the train around seven o'clock in the night.
我離開的那天,武漢的太陽炙烤著一切。街上每個人好象都在被迫桑拿著,從頭發(fā)到腳趾都流著汗,臉上汗津津的。我手拉一個行李箱,背著個背包,手上拿著車票。由于是紙質(zhì)的,車票有點濕潤了。候車廳里充斥著各種氣味,每個角落都是人,沒有1寸空余的地方。那個小女孩在哪?我肯定,沒有人能找出我來,已經(jīng)被人潮淹沒了。晚上7點多,我登上了火車。
The train had no air conditioner it was hot as well. There were four seats around the table, two boys and two girls; I'm one of the girls. The boys were tall and clean with fresh face, everything was exciting. They went to Harbin to register in Harbin Institute of Technology as freshmen. The girl was in grade two in a university in Tianjin. We were all students in similar age. The trip was pleasant and nice although it was hot. The boys looked after us along the way. We parted at Beijing Station in the afternoon, the girl stayed in the train to Tianjin, we three got off the train.
火車上沒有空調(diào),和外面一樣熱。四個座位圍著一張桌子,兩男孩兩女孩,我是其中一個女孩。男孩們比較高大,臉龐干凈又充滿是好奇,事事新鮮興奮,他們也是新生,去哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)報道。那個女孩在天津上大二。我們都是年齡相似的學(xué)生。盡管天氣炎熱,我們的旅途很是愉快美好。男孩們一路照看著我們。第二天下午,我們在北京站下車,那個女孩則一路坐到天津。
Suddenly, 《Autumn in Peking》hit my heart, I was in Yu Dafu's Autumn. The street was cool and clean grey, after drizzel, just like very light fog around. I was standing in the street, the hint of sadness surround us, my soul was cleaned as well as body, breathing fresh air, and the wind breezed gently. The ivy was covering the partition of road, so tender and beautiful. The leaves graduated from green to red. Fire? Cloud? Lovely face? It spreaded the leaves, showing the beauty unreservedly, my seductive. It's the first time I can touch somehow the charming of prose, the sadness, nearby. The motherland was so great I went through summer to autumn just the twenty hours.
突然,《故都的秋》深深地觸動心底深處,我已經(jīng)在郁達(dá)夫的秋天里了。北京的街道清冷干凈,淡淡的灰色,好象剛下過一場小雨,霧氣薄薄的縈繞著。我站在街頭,感到淡淡的憂傷,身和心都被洗滌,呼吸著新鮮空氣,風(fēng)微微地吹來。路中的綠化墻上滿是爬山虎,如此嬌艷。葉子的顏色從綠到紅,盡情地漸變著。火?云?可愛的臉?它伸展著葉子,毫無保留地展示著美麗,我的小妖精。我似乎第一次能近地感受到散文的魅力和惆悵,如此接近地。祖國真?zhèn)ゴ蟀。r就從夏天到了秋天。
We finished the transit procedure and followed a forty- year’s old lady to an underground hotel together which was cheap. That hotel was in Chongwen area. Strolled along the street nearby, it was short - about 5 minute walking, I had noodle for dinner. There were few people in the street. Then I went back and fell in sleep soon.
我們?nèi)齻€人辦好轉(zhuǎn)車手續(xù)后,一起跟著一個40來歲的女人到了一家地下旅館。旅館在很便宜,在崇文門。我在附近街上漫無目的地閑逛。短短的街道,大約5分鐘就可以走完。我吃碗面條當(dāng)晚餐。街上冷清,只有很少幾個人。然后我回房入住了。
Abruptly, I was waken up by a fierce knock. I bounced up from bed, realized many beds were empty. The two boys were outside the door. “It’s very late now, only 45 minutes prior to our train." The taller boy said nervously. The other boy said:" we didn't know the time because there's no sunlight in this hotel. It's same light always. We thought you could wake up us". No more words, we three rushed out the hotel. We couldn't get the bus, 5 minutes passed. "Let's run to the station." We run along the street, the street was so long, my heart almost went out of body, hard to breathe. There was only 35 minutes left. A car stopped besides us, a man opened the door. "Hey, what are you guys doing?" He surprised at us. "We are going to miss the train, it's only 35 minutes time left, but no bus." We almost cried. "Come in, please. I drive you there." He smiled. We arrived Beijing railway station 15 minutes before the train. My tears fell down.
突然,被一陣急促的敲門聲驚醒了。我從床上彈了起來,這才意識到房子里許多床已經(jīng)空了。那兩個男孩站在門外。“現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)很晚了。離開車只有45分鐘了。”那個個更高一點的男孩緊張地說。另一個男孩說:“這旅館沒日沒夜,我們不知道時間。我們以為你會叫我們起床。”沒有更多的話,我們?nèi)齻€立馬沖出了旅館。等了5分鐘,還沒看到巴士。“跑到車站吧。”我們沿著街道狂奔,街道好長,好長。我的心要跳出來了,幾乎呼吸不了了。只有35分鐘了。一輛小車在我們旁邊停了下來,一個男人搖開車窗。“嘿,你們怎么了?”他對我們很驚奇。“我們就要錯過火車了,離開車只有35分鐘了,但又沒有巴士。”我們幾乎哭了。“請上來,我車你們?nèi)ァ?rdquo;他微笑著。在發(fā)車15分鐘前,我們到達(dá)了北京站。我的眼淚掉了下來。
I got off in Changchun on two o'clock on the morning of Sep 8th. It's light winter time there. Till that time, I just realized we didn't know the name each other. We didn't meet with each other any more.
9月8日凌晨2點,我到達(dá)了長春。那里已經(jīng)是初冬了。直到那時,我才想起來我們不知道彼此的姓名。那以后,我們再也沒有見過。
After that, I went to Beijing several times. But the first sight of Beijing is the best, I can never forget.
后來,我又?jǐn)?shù)次到過北京。但是,第一次北京印象是最好的,永遠(yuǎn)忘不了。
