Love Your Life熱愛生活
--Henry David Thoreau/享利.大衛(wèi).梭羅
However mean your life is,meet it and live it ;do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are.It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults in paradise.Love your life, poor as it is.You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hourss, even in a poor-house.The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich man's abode;the snow melts before its door as early in the spring.I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheering thoughts,as in a palace. The town's poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any.May be they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving. Most think that they are above being supported by the town;but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means.which should be more disreputable.Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage.Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends,Turn the old, return to them.Things do not change;we change.Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

Since all living things need it, and it makes up two-thirds of our bodies, it seems obvious that water is vital to our health. Most people, however, drink fewer than the eight recommended glasses each day. An alarming one-third drink no water at all!
既然所有的生物都需要水,而且水占了人體的三分之二,所以似乎很明顯水對(duì)我們的健康極為重要。然而,多數(shù)人的飲水量比建議的每天八杯水要少。更令人擔(dān)心的是,有三分之一的人甚至一口水都不喝。
So why is drinking enough water so important? A minor water deficiency can lead to headaches, sleepiness, and moodiness, while prolonged dehydration can cause high blood pressure and other serious problems.
為什么喝足夠的水這么重要呢?輕微的水分不足會(huì)導(dǎo)致頭痛、嗜睡和情緒低落;而長(zhǎng)期脫水則會(huì)造成高血壓和其它嚴(yán)重問題。
Drinking water helps our bodies in a variety of ways. It helps us get rid of toxins, which enables our kidneys to do a better job, and it helps prevent bladder infections. It improves digestion and helps us develop antibodies. Finally, water is a great moisturizer and gives our skin a healthy glow.
喝水在許多方面都有助于我們的身體。它幫助我們排出毒素,使腎臟運(yùn)作地更好,它也能避免膀胱受感染。水能促進(jìn)消化并幫助我們產(chǎn)生抗體。最后,水是最好的保濕劑,可賦予肌膚健康的光澤。
Drinking water throughout the day is an important habit to pick up. For your health, give this simple substance the importance it deserves.
全天候飲水補(bǔ)水是個(gè)必須養(yǎng)成的重要習(xí)慣。為了你的健康,給予這個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單物質(zhì)足夠的重視吧。

Oral English Made Easy
What is necessary to learn English well?
Learning English requires action. You may know all the learning tips, but if you don't start doing
things, you will achieve nothing. The fact is, if you want to learn to speak English well, you must
change your life. Here are some examples of things you will have to do:
1) Read, read, read! The more you read, the more mistakes and problems will start to
"look" or "sound" wrong to you. Correctness will start to feel natural. Read a passage in English for twenty minutes every day, analyzing the grammar in sentences and looking up words in an English dictionary
2) Listen to English language radio or audio files on your MP3. It's good listening practice. Besides hearing words pronounced that aren't normally used in conversation, you'll hear complex sentence structures. Try imitating the speaker's pronunciation.
3) Read out loud. If you have kids, read to them. Even if your dog or cat is the only one listening, reading passages out loud is one way to interpret their structures, and it will make you more conscious of their details. As an exercise, spend your afternoon practicing the pronunciation of the English "r" sound.
4) Build your vocabulary. Collect words you don't know. In addition, browse in the dictionary or play word games.
5) Carefully write an e-mail message in English, using a dictionary every 20 seconds to make sure every word is correct, and taking 5 minutes to write one sentence
6) Practice writing. Whatever and wherever you write, practice daily, if possible. In email and text messages, use complete sentences. That's writing, too.
7) Walk down the street and build simple English sentences in your head (talking to yourself in English about the things you see around you)
The problem with learning English is that all English learners want to speak English well; however,
most learners don't want to spend time on learning English on their own.
This lack of motivation means that learners basically don't spend their own time on learning English,
and if they do, they don't do it regularly. The problem is that a huge one-time effort gives you nothing, while small, everyday activities will give you a lot.
